Our Immersion Spanish Classes

IPAI's Spanish Immersion Classes work to make Spanish as easy as possible for you. Grasp the language through a series of activities and materials which will immediately let you use, in real life situations, what you have learned in class. Our Spanish immersion courses use 6 text books; compiled through many years of experience and learning. We have been able to create a number of clear and concise books to quickly introduce you to the peculiarities and complexities of our language (books are included in your fee).

The Spanish immersion classes begin with an oral placement examination to assess your level of proficiency and place you with students at your same level. The Spanish immersion classes are taught in very small groups (4 students max) to offer you individual attention and help. Our staff is bilingual, well prepared, experienced and very patient.  Apart from your class hours, the Spanish immersion program creates opportunities for you to go on field trips to nearby towns, waterfalls, parks, etc. Sometimes the Spanish immersion lessons include short hikes to the beach, mountains, and even some of the numerous tour destinations Costa Rica offers!

We could not have a Spanish immersion program without involving as many native Spanish speakers as possible; the conversational meetings held once or twice a week will give you such opportunity. The Spanish immersion program is paired with our English immersion classes for locals. This way both English and Spanish speaking alumni help each other learn culture and language through dance, cooking, talking and lots of fun.
